Submit a change of ownership notification

Have you completed a property transaction? By submitting a change of ownership notification for the connection agreement, the ownership of the electricity connection is transferred to the new property owner. An electricity connection refers to the link between the property’s electrical installations and the electricity distribution network. Transferring the ownership of a connection agreement is free of charge. If you need to make changes to your company’s electricity supply contract instead of the electricity connection, please contact your electricity retailer.

Submitting the notification

Submit the change of ownership notification using the button below. A connection may serve several apartments and have multiple owners. In properties with several apartments, the owner of the connection is usually the housing company, and the change of ownership of the agreement is handled by a representative of the housing company. If the property does not have a housing company, please also report any other possible owners of the connection when submitting the change of ownership notification.

Confirm that you are the owner of the connection with your electronic signature. You will also receive a username and password by email, which you can use to log in to our service. Once we have processed your notification, you can download the new connection agreement from the service. If there are any uncertainties regarding the transfer of the connection, we may request a copy of the deed of sale.

How does the process proceed?

The change of ownership is confirmed during the notification process using strong electronic identification. Please note that you must have the right to sign on behalf of the company you represent, or you can add the contact details of the person confirming the notification.

Helen Electricity Network processes the notification submitted by the company you represent and confirms the transfer of the connection agreement to you.

You will receive a separate confirmation notice, after which you can download the connection agreement from the online service.
