Disconnection of an electricity connection
An electricity connection is disconnected when the use of electricity at the site ends permanently. Disconnecting the connection and removing the meter are free of charge for the customer.
Ordering the disconnection
Please note the following before ordering the disconnection of an electricity connection:

The disconnection of a connection is permanent, and the electricity connection cannot be reactivated afterwards.

Remember to also terminate your electricity supply contract with your electricity retailer.

Demolition work at the site must not begin before the electricity connection has been safely disconnected.

The connection cable will be de-energised and the electricity meter(s) will be removed from the property. Please ensure access to the building if the meter is located indoors.
